Weekend Update
Alright, it's been awhile so let me catch you guys up:

Friday: Hunted my cabin stand in Letchworth for the evening stretch. Didn't see any deer, but I did see three big coyotes. They were within 15 yards of me. In retrospect I should have shot one, but at the time I didn't want to use a broadhead. But really who do you know that has ever shot a coyote with a bow. I would have had it made into a rug too. Too bad.

Saturday: Hunted my cabin stand in Letchworth for the morning stretch. Saw a decent 2.5 year old 6 or 8 point buck early (about 35 yards) and a doe right before I left.

Sunday: Fished Sandy with Scott Schleede in the morning. We fished until about noon. What an unbelievable day we had. I had to switch my fly rod to mono to float egg sacks (that's how Scott was catching them early). I just wrapped 30 yards of 8lb test onto my fly reel and fished egg sacks (Scott's super-duper homemade recipe) under a float (read bobber). And boy did we kill them. We caught 22 fish in all. There were 11 steelhead, 9 browns, and 2 salmon. What a great morning. I can't wait to go back next weekend. Scott's big brown and steelhead were about 10 lbs each. Enjoy the pictures.

Sunday: Hunted for 1.5 hours before dark. Saw three does and 22, 387, 901 squirrels.
Have a great week guys and shoot straight (this means you Moore Brothers, who each missed or wounded a deer this weekend).
