Well guys, Scott has been quiet for awhile, you knew he must be catching some fish. I made a trip up to Sandy Creek Saturday morning with Adam. The water was fairly high and colored. There were a few salmon around, but nothing great. Adam had one on, but lost it. Two weeks should be about the time the Salmon run really kicks in (yeah, that makes it right about the same time of John's wedding [thanks Bud]). Anyway, I'm getting geared up for bow season right now. Shot my bow twice this week, so I am about ready. Thought this picture might get you psyched up for brown trout in the stream (very soon...) Hey everyone. It looks like you have all been busy enjoying the great outdoors. We have been putting in some quality time on the water the past two weeks and have boated numerous quality kings (all the above are pushing thirty pounds) and a few nice browns are showing up as well. The evening bite has been great as we are getting multiple hook ups in short two hour trips after work. As always anyone who wants to fish is welcome. My focus will be shifting from the trolling in the big lake to steelhead and browns in the streams and perch in the ponds very soon. Good luck to all in your hunting and thanks for leaving the streams to me.

Hit Silver Lake yesterday morning with dad. We got out about 7:45. Tried a few different locations before finding fish in the Flower Garden Hole area. We tried several different lures, but the only thing the bass would hit were crawlers.

Ended the day limiting out on bass (yes we did keep them to eat). We only kept the bass between 13 and 15 inches, the rest we threw back. Ended the day about noon with 20-25 bass, two pike (Yamamoto worm and spinnerbait), and a handful of panfish. Classic Silver Lake fishing outing. Stay in touch guys...deer season is coming!!!
