Finally!! I went out tonight and after sitting for an hour or so I seen 3 does running my way about 250 yards away. I was looking at them with my binoculars and noticed that they kept looking behind them, we all know what that means in Nov. I kept watching behind them and wow there he was chasing about 75 yards behind. I lost sight of the does as I was watching the buck, he then went into the tall grass and I lost sight of him, as I was watching I heard something under me I looked and saw the 3 does moving quickly through the corn in front of me about 25 yards away. I could only pray that the buck followed. After what seemed like an eternity ( about 3 min.) I pulled out my doe bleat and hit it 3 times. Nothin so I pulled out my grunt call grunted twice and bam he just appeared out of nowhere standing on the edge of the corn. The grunting got him all fired up and he started rackin the tree he was by with his horns. He then came into the corn and was Rubin the stalks. I came to full draw and grunted with my mouth to stop him. He stopped at about 25 yard. I put the pin on his shoulder and squeezed the trigger. I didn't see the arrow, but he hunched up a bit and ran off like he wasn't hit. At first I felt like jumping out of my tree stand, but instead I looked through my binoculars and seen a bright red arrow! I could hear him running through the corn and all of the Sudan I seen corn go flyin and heard him crash (about 30 yards away)! He is a nice 2 1/2 yr old 8 point with a 13" spread and 6" G2's I will post pics of him and my dads deer tomorrow. Good luck every one!
A very happy hunter
Scott
