Hunted in the Orchard stand in Letchworth this evening (same stand I shot my buck out of). Had a nice yearling 8pt come in. He was about 10-12 yards away for 15 minutes. Could have put a good shot on him, but I decided to save my tag (and Jocelyn said I can't shoot any more bucks unless they are really big because they don't taste very good [Bucky flavor I believe is her term]). I am hunting tomorrow all day in Letchworth with Larry. We should drop a deer or two between us. On Saturday I am going to fish Sandy again. Then back to the woods Sunday (of course Joce is away vising the in-laws which is why I have so much time to hunt and fish.) Next Saturday opens guns season...I cant wait.
