Memorial Day camping trip (Reneeeeeeee). We went to Seneca lake this year and camped in Sampson Park. It was a ton of fun having John and Andrea there, along with me, Larry, and about 100 other people from my family. I was concerned that we were not going to be able to locate or catch fish in such a big lake (67 miles long, 600 feet deep), but we ended up doing quite well. Larry especially had a good weekend on Crankbaits over rock walls/ledges. We probably ended the weekend with 80 bass bass taken between Larry, Shaun, and I. Larry caught a couple of smallmouth that would go over three pounds. We also hit into the bluegills well (they were swarming by the thousands in big, black masses). John and Andrea had a fun afternoon (20 minutes) catching one after another as Larry and I baited hooks and took fish off. Shaun also had some luck catching a few pike. Overall, everyone caught some fish and we all had a good time. I love camping.
