Great day 0n the lake today with Larry and Joey. We slammed the pike as seen in the pictures posted by Joey, However he failed to mentioned that Larry claimed to have on a huge with a drop shot rig. The fish though some how decided to break off and leave the hook but broke the weights off the rig. HMMM. Fish or Giant ROCK bass, Who knows. The absolute highlight of the trip though was when a guy wearing a black robe and a GOLD and RED VELVET CROWN walks out of his house on a cell phone and talks for twenty minutes on shore in front of us. Yes i Said a CROWN. Absolutley hilarious. All and all a great day with the guys. Keep tight lines and let the killing begin!

Funny enough, I was in the back of the boat, they were in the front. I had a HUGE fish on, saw its back, it ran my drag and then snapped off... funny enough, it did break off my weights. Its not the first time I have had a fish on the shiney silver and gold weights with a red ticker. Unfortunately for me, Joe and Adam did find it important enough to even take a look at what I had on, so it got discreditted as a weed... bunch of bums.
They can make fun of me for hooking a fish and having the weights break off.. Joey caught a pike in the gills this week, last week he hooked a blue gill through the gills, wedged a hook in a walleyes mouth and lassoed a pike... weights breaking off seems normal in light of those.
Wait, Joey hooking fish?
I've been hearing that acusation since high school (shout out to Muehl!).
Joey-
What's that on your shoulder? It's not a chip as first expected....I think its a shoulder person of some sort. I've heard of shoulder angels and shoulder devils....but a shoulder Adam?
If I remember correctly it was a bluegill that I hooked through the gill, a walleye that I wedged with a hook, and a salmon that I lassoed. Get your facts straight dude! Someday I do hope to legally hook a fish though. Until then I will do what I gotta to catch fish. Later All.
